Tena Koe,

Welcome to all the new students and families to Room 16.

It is great to see the children back at school all rested up and
ready for another busy term of learning. I am sure the next 9 weeks will fly.

The swimming pool is ready to go. Our swimming days are
Monday and Wednesday from 2pm.  Students will require named swimming togs
and a towel in a plastic bag.

Stationery: Thanks to those who have purchased their child’s stationery.
We start using our books from week 3. If you require another stationery
list please let me or the office know.

Your child will bring home a reading book on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday to share with you. Could you please listen to your child read
then sign their reading log which they bring back to school everyday in their
book bag.
Your child will also have alphabet letter and sounds to practice along with
some basic words. A poem will be sent home on Friday to share with their
whanau over the weekend. Ansbach children poised to benefit from $25K literacy grant ...

As we are a Health Promoting School we encourage our students to make
healthy choices regarding what they eat at school and to keep treats for
special occasions.  Gardeners sandwich-Explored | Had a day in the garden and en… | Flickr
